The Walking Mobile safari
Combining Nkwali 2 Nights, Walking Mobile 5 Nights, and Tena Tena 3 Nights
The Walking Mobile Safaris have come to be known as THE wilderness experience of the South Luangwa. After 2 nights at Nkwali, the party drives up to the remote north of the park. For 5 days the safari follows the Mupamadzi River, covering approximately 10km a day. This clear river is a major tributary of the Luangwa. The area is remote and wild, the terrain and habitats varied and the game shy and unused to man. From ants to buffalo, a bird's nest to tracking a lion, you will learn the many facets of the bush.

Robin Pope Bush Camping
Bush Camping is a wonderful way to dive deeper into the bush, camping in a simple but extremely comfortable way. Personalized safaris, catering for between 2-4 guests, in two different and contrasting areas. Walking with the best of guides, dipping deeper into the bush from the fixed camps by camping out for a couple of nights, dinner and stories around the fire, simple but delicious food. Accommodation consists of the following; stand up tents, mattresses on the ground, sheets and blankets, wash basin, shared 60L bucket shower, bush loo, full bar and food service, fully serviced camp (except laundry). Bush Camping in a wild and remote area away from the main Luangwa River. The game is sparse, skittish and wild. Here you really are deep in the bush.

North Luangwa Walking Trail
Kutandala is an exqusite bushcamp on the banks of the Mwaleshi in the North Luangwa National Park. This ten day (nine nights) safari starts at Nkwali Camp for two nights. Guests will then transfer to Nsefu for three nights, and the safari will end with four nights at Kutandala. The transfer to Kutandala Camp in the North Luangwa is by light aeroplane. The park is very remote and wild - a place for real bush lovers to visit. Made of reed, grass and poles, and taking only six guests, the camp is intimate and natural.
